Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you use our website or engage Sapphire Coast Garden Love.
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of the Sapphire Coast Garden Love website and to lawn mowing, garden maintenance and related services supplied by Sapphire Coast Garden Love (“we”, “us” or “our”).
By accepting a quote, confirming a booking or using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Our Services
We provide lawn mowing, edging, garden maintenance, hedge and bush trimming, weeding, pruning, garden clean-ups, green-waste removal, residential garden care and commercial grounds-care services across the Sapphire Coast.
The exact scope of work, price, service frequency and any inclusions or exclusions will be stated in the relevant quote, booking confirmation or other written agreement.
2. Quotes
- Quotes are free and carry no obligation unless otherwise stated.
- A quote is based on the information and site conditions available when it is prepared.
- Unless stated otherwise, a quote remains valid for 30 days.
- A quote may be revised if the requested work changes, the information provided was incomplete or inaccurate, or previously concealed site conditions affect the work.
- Additional work will not be undertaken without your approval, except where reasonably necessary to address an immediate safety risk.
3. Bookings and Acceptance
A booking is confirmed when we accept your request and agree on the service, price and scheduled date or service frequency.
Submitting a website form, sending an email or leaving a telephone message does not by itself guarantee a booking or service availability.
4. Property Access
You must provide safe and reasonable access to the service area at the agreed time. This includes:
- Unlocking gates and access points.
- Securing pets and animals.
- Moving vehicles and other obstructions.
- Removing objects that may obstruct or endanger the work.
- Providing any access instructions before our arrival.
If we cannot safely access the property, we may reschedule the service. A reasonable call-out or cancellation charge may apply where access was not provided and we were not given adequate notice.
5. Customer Responsibilities
Before work begins, you must tell us about known hazards or special requirements, including:
- Underground irrigation, cables, pipes or other services.
- Fragile plants, garden ornaments or concealed objects.
- Unsafe structures, contaminated material, sharp objects or hazardous substances.
- Animals, pests or restricted-access areas.
- Property boundaries and areas that must not be entered or serviced.
You are responsible for obtaining any required property-owner, landlord, strata, council or other approval before the service begins.
6. Weather and Rescheduling
Garden work may be affected by rain, extreme heat, fire danger, unsafe ground conditions, equipment problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We may postpone or reschedule work where proceeding would be unsafe, impractical or likely to damage the property. Where possible, we will contact you and arrange the next reasonably available time.
7. Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule a booking.
Where less notice is provided, or our team attends but cannot complete the work because access or required preparation has not been provided, we may charge a reasonable cancellation or call-out fee. Any applicable fee will be communicated to you.
8. Recurring Services
Recurring lawn or garden services continue at the agreed frequency until changed or cancelled by either party.
Service timing may vary because of weather, seasonal growth, public holidays or operational requirements.
We may recommend adjusting the service frequency where seasonal conditions, plant growth or the condition of the property requires it. Any material change to the agreed scope or price will be discussed with you first.
9. Green Waste
Green-waste removal is included only where stated in your quote or service agreement.
Additional charges may apply for unusually large quantities, contaminated material, soil, construction waste, hazardous waste or material that cannot be accepted as ordinary green waste.
10. Prices and Payment
- Prices will be stated in the relevant quote, invoice or booking confirmation.
- Unless stated otherwise, all prices are in Australian dollars.
- Payment must be made using the payment method and by the due date shown on the invoice.
- We may pause recurring or future services while an invoice remains overdue.
- You may be responsible for reasonable costs associated with recovering an overdue amount where permitted by law.
11. Service Results
We will perform our services with due care and skill.
Garden and lawn results may vary because of weather, soil conditions, watering, pests, disease, existing plant condition, previous maintenance and other environmental factors outside our control.
Unless expressly agreed in writing, we do not guarantee particular plant growth, complete weed eradication, long-term lawn condition or a specific horticultural result.
12. Existing Damage and Hidden Hazards
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage caused by hazards that were concealed, incorrectly identified or not disclosed to us, including hidden irrigation systems, cables, pipes, rocks, debris or unstable structures.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility where loss or damage results from our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded, restricted or modified.
14. Concerns About a Service
If you believe a service has not been completed as agreed, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide details of the issue.
Where appropriate, we will inspect the work and provide a remedy consistent with our obligations under the Australian Consumer Law.
